To this great High mountain To produce Qing Xin Dong Ding Oolong, our tea farmer friend Mr. Lin used very high quality tea leaves from the Qing Xin cultivar. The tea leaves were harvested from Dalushan Mountain at 1,100 meters above sea level.
During the infusion, this lightly roasted oolong tea presents itself from two sides. With the first infusion, the tea presents itself from its strong, spicy side. The more often you brew the loose tea leaves in a Yixing teapot, the lighter and fruity its varied aromas become.
Its tea leaves show a rich green color and give off an inviting scent of rose honey. However, in the first cups you can also find aromas that are reminiscent of baking spices. The taste changes from the third cup and the tropical fruit aromas then emerge.
This Qing Xin Dong Ding Oolong is a very versatile tea that has to be tried due to its light roast and high leaf quality.
We recommend the for brewing Gong Fu Cha method because it certainly takes some time to “work out” this tea.
