For this great High Mountain To produce Qing Xin Dong Ding Oolong, our friend tea farmer Mr. Lin used very high-quality tea leaves from the Qing Xin cultivar. The tea leaves were harvested on Dalushan Mountain at 1100 meters above sea level.
During the infusion, this lightly roasted oolong tea presents itself from two sides. During the first infusion, the tea presents itself from its strong, spicy side. The more often you brew the loose tea leaves in a Yixing teapot, the lighter and fruitier its diverse aromas become.
Its tea leaves are a rich green color and give off an inviting scent of rose honey. However, in the first cups you will also find aromas reminiscent of baking spices. The taste changes from the third cup onwards, with the tropical fruit aromas emerging.
Due to its light roasting and the high leaf quality, this Qing Xin Dong Ding Oolong is a very versatile tea that you have to try.
For brewing, we recommend the Gong Fu Cha Methode since it certainly takes some time to "work out" this tea.
