The Alishan tea gardens are located in what is arguably the most famous tea-growing region in Taiwan and offer a wide variety of teas. With our Alishan High Mountain Oolong Terroir Selection, we want to introduce our customers to the diversity of different teas from the Alishan region.

Our Alishan High Mountain Oolong Terroir Selection includes three different Oolong tea varieties:

1. Xiding Alishan Oolong Tea from Taiwan - 150g

This Alishan Oolong was only very lightly fermented at 20% and has a beautiful wintergreen aroma and a pleasant orchid scent.

2. Alishan High Mountain Oolong Tea with light roast - 150g

This Alishan tea was also lightly fermented and lightly roasted, giving it a stronger flavor with nutty and honey notes.

3. Alishan Gaba Oolong Tea - Gabalong - high amino acid content - 75g

Our Gabalong has been lightly fermented in the absence of oxygen. This process was developed in Japan and contributes to a significant increase in the amino acid GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), which is said to have health-promoting effects.

This also creates a special aroma reminiscent of a fruity dessert and raisins. A light roasting rounds off the aroma perfectly.
