Today we were allowed to try the newly arrived Jade Oolong tea sample from a small tea garden of a tea farmer friend.

This Jade Oolong has a golden, medium-strong infusion with a very floral, long-lasting aromatic complexity that is reminiscent of fresh floral aromas and tropical fruits which one already comes from Yixing teapot intensely counterflows.
This oolong is grown at 500-850 meters above sea level in the Mingjian village of Nantou County in Taiwan.
For lovers of floral notes, it would be advisable to brew the rolled tea leaves at a low temperature (~ 85 ° C) and not let them steep for too long.
However, if you prefer a stronger finish, you should brew this tea a little hotter and extend the brewing time a little.
