This beautiful Da-Yeh Red Oolong is grown in a small tea garden in Mingjian Township in Nantou County, which is located in the heart of the most popular Taiwanese tea region.
The red oolong was made from the Da-Yeh cultivar, which is known for its soft taste and does not require astringency.
This tea was fermented up to 85%. In order to emphasize its taste, it was roasted briefly before packing.
If you open the pack, a bewitching scent of pipe tobacco flows towards us as you might know it from grandpa's times.
In the teacup, the Mingjian Da-Yeh Red Oolong shines brightly amber and has a pleasant, but not intrusive, sweet taste. Aromas of apricot and maple syrup can be recognized.
