Our Jin Xuan Milky Oolong grows in the clear highlands of Taiwan, surrounded by mist and fresh mountain air. The tea leaves are carefully harvested by hand and gently processed to preserve the natural, milky-creamy texture of the Jin Xuan variety — completely without artificial flavorings.

Taste & Aroma

The first infusion reveals a soft, velvety bouquet: notes of cream, vanilla, and caramel , accompanied by a delicate floral sweetness (orchid). On the palate, the tea is round and creamy, with a long, mild finish.

Harvest & Processing

The leaves are predominantly hand-picked on small family-run plantations at high altitudes. After a slight withering, they undergo controlled rolling and partial oxidation. The tea is then gently roasted at a low temperature—a traditional technique that preserves the delicate essential oils and accentuates the natural milky notes.

degree of fermentation

Jin Xuan is a semi-fermented oolong with an oxidation level of approximately 15–30% . This means it combines the freshness of green teas with the rounded, lightly roasted notes of more heavily oxidized oolongs — ideal for connoisseurs who appreciate balance and complexity.
