Fushoushan (福壽 山) is a very small oolong growing area in the Lishan Mountains of Taiwan. Due to the ideal growing conditions, one of the best Oolong teas in Taiwan is made there.
In 2010 the tea harvest was of excellent quality so the tea master decided to expand this oolong into an Aged Fushoushan High Mountain Oolong.
At 2200 meters above sea level, these tea gardens are one of the highest tea farms in Taiwan! The popular Qing Xin cultivar is grown there.
and this is how the tea tastes:
Due to its age, this Aged Fushoushan Oolong tastes extremely smooth and soft, more like honey or slightly caramelized and pleasantly woody flavors.
This tea can withstand up to 10 infusions and remains pleasantly soft without the taste becoming astringent.
Altitude: over 2200 meters
Cultivar: Qing Xing
